We are licensed by the SEC to serve customers in the Philippines. Migrant Finance Company acts as the Personal Information Controller of your data in relation to its loan and financial services.

• Identity Data: name, birthdate, nationality, government IDs, photos, signatures

• Financial and Employment Data: income, employment details, bank account information, loan, loan purpose or payment history
• Transaction Data: loan amounts, repayment details, payment channels used
• Device and Technical Data: device type, OS version, SIM number, IP address, mobile network, and app usage logs
• Location Data: GPS or network-based location (if permissions are granted)
• Reference and Background Data: references, education, credit bureau data, and other information from lawful third-party sources
Why do we collect and process your data?
Migrant Finance Company collects and processes your personal data to comply with legal and regulatory requirements, verify your identity, conduct KYC and anti-money laundering checks, report to credit bureaus and tax authorities, and maintain accurate records. This ensures that we operate as a responsible and compliant financing company.
We also use your data to provide, manage, and improve our services — such as evaluating your loan eligibility, processing applications, handling payments, maintaining your account, and communicating with you about updates, offers, or repayment reminders. These activities help us fulfill our contract with you and continuously enhance your experience with our app and services.

We process your personal information based on one or more of the following lawful grounds under the Data Privacy Act:
• Contract – to process your loan application, disbursement, and repayment
• Legal obligation – including Anti-Money Laundering and credit reporting
• Legitimate interests – fraud prevention, risk models, security, internal analytics
• Consent – for marketing communications and access to device permissions (camera, location, contacts, storage)
How We Use Your Information
We process your personal data for purposes such as:
• Processing and managing loan applications, approvals, and repayments
• Identity verification, credit scoring, and fraud prevention
• Performing legal and regulatory obligations (e.g., anti-money laundering checks)
• Communicating with you about your account or transactions; such as scheduled messages, auto dialers, pre-recorded calls, robocalls, chatbots, and self-service menus
• Sending relevant updates, promotions, and offers (if you have consented)
• Analyzing and improving our products and customer experience
• Protecting our rights and complying with laws, court orders, or regulatory requests
Where does MiFi process my data?
We may store and process your information in secure cloud environment with best-in-class data protection safeguards. Standard contractual clauses and encryption are applied.
Sharing and Disclosure of Your Data
We keep your data safe and at times may share your data with authorized parties:
• Authorized service providers, agents, and partners who help operate our services
• Banks, e-wallets, or payment channels that process loan disbursements or collections
• Messaging services like telcos for text messages, online messengers for chat, or email platforms, which allow us to communicate with you
• Third party services like customer support, collections, and agencies, which allow us to address your concerns, collect your payments, and invite you to join promos
• Credit bureaus and government regulators
• Technology and analytics partners for risk assessment and fraud detection
• Auditors, legal advisers, or potential acquirers in connection with legitimate business purposes
• If you are part of MiFi’s Referral program, we may provide a bonus to the customer who refers you when you repay your loan. We will make sure we do not share details about the transaction.
All partners are required to protect your data and use it only for lawful, contractual purposes. We may also share data as required by law or when necessary to protect our legal interests or prevent fraud.
Retention and Disposal
We keep your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes stated above or at least five years under Anti-Money Laundering regulations. When no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize your data to prevent further processing or unauthorized access.

We apply organizational, physical, and technical measures to safeguard your data, including:
• Data encryption in storage and transmission
• Access control and employee confidentiality obligations
• Firewalls and secure servers
